lately..
i have been doing lots o' work. as there is only about a month left in the semester i am working on a few projects. at the moment those are:
my mom came to visit for the last bit of my spring 'break' which was nice. some of our notable activities included a trip to the casino (which strangely for NY allows smoking but not drinking), a bill morrissey concert at the westcott community center and a trip to a local farmer/flea market. otherwise, we ate a lot and hung out.
i'm looking forward to this school year winding down and the weather improving. this weekend has been busy with the NCAA tournament in town and the prospect of a lot of visitors to the restaurant, but until now the shifts i've worked have been rather disappointing. maybe tonight will prove otherwise.
now its time to get back to work.
- an evaluation of the research library at the national women's hall of fame
- a case study about managing change in academic libraries (looking at the U of Arizona in particular)
- preparing to teach a group of education grad students about how to use the library's databases and other useful sites of organized information on the web (like the librarian's index to the internet and the internet public library)
